BOT TELEGRAM
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Go to the link: https://t.me/BotFather and click “Start.”
Step 2: Select “/newbot – create new bot,” which I highlighted in the second screenshot (the screenshots are below).
Step 3: Enter a name for the bot. It’s best to use {your Instagram username} + {your niche}, or {your first and last name} + {your niche}. This helps your audience immediately understand they’re in the right place. When you send broadcasts later, they’ll also clearly see who the messages are from.

Step 4: Create a username for the bot using the English keyboard layout.
Use the format {Instagram username}_bot.
Example: alekseeva_bot, anna_smirnova_bot
After your username, make sure to add an underscore and the word bot.
Some usernames may already be taken, so find one that’s available. If everything is successful, you’ll receive a message like the one shown in the screenshot.
Step 5: The first highlighted message is the link to your bot. Press and hold it, then select “Copy link.” Open your notes app and paste the link there so you don’t lose it.

Step 6: The second highlighted message is the code you’ll need to create the automated broadcast. Tap it once, and a notification will appear at the bottom saying the text has been copied. Open your notes app and paste this code there so you don’t lose it.
Step 7: Press and hold the message, a menu will appear — select “Pin.” The message will be pinned to the top of the chat so you have quick access in case you lose the note with the link and code from this message.

Step 8: Click the link in the message (the first highlighted link in the screenshot below) and you’ll be taken to the newly created bot.
Step 9: Tap the icon in the top-right corner, then select “Bot settings.”

Step 10: Tap “Choose a photo” and set an avatar for the bot. It’s best to choose a photo where your face is clearly visible so people recognize you right away.
Step 11: Then select “Edit welcome message.” You’ll be redirected back to the chat. There, send a message describing your bot. Use this format for the description:
“Want to get the lesson {lead magnet title}? Then tap ‘Start’ 👇”

Step 12: Scroll the chat slightly upward and click the first link again to return to the bot. Then, in the top-right corner, tap the icon once more and go to Bot settings.

Step 13: Select “Edit commands.” You’ll be redirected to the chat. Copy and send the following message:
command1 - Reload
If everything is successful, you’ll see a confirmation message like the one in my second screenshot. You can then scroll the chat up again and click the link that leads to the bot. After 3–4 minutes, a description titled “What can this bot do?”will appear. Users will also have the option to restart the bot if it doesn’t work properly.
If the description doesn’t appear, close Telegram and open it again. Remember that you saved your bot link and code in your notes — you’ll need them later in the lesson on setting up the broadcast.
That’s it — your bot is ready, but it doesn’t send anything yet. This will be configured separately.
